Biography

Mr Pradeep Multani is an Economics & Law Graduate from Delhi University and has more than 40 years of experience in the field of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines sector, one of the top 10 companies in India, and has been Chairman of a multi-crore Ayurveda & Unani Company for more than 30 years. Multani, a stalwart of the AYUSH industry is trying his best to promote traditional systems of medicines across the world by addressing different seminars and sensitising various embassies and other international delegates and doing advocacy on different issues on behalf of the industry.

Multani strongly believes that steps taken toward doubling farmers’ income would be a significant contributor to the PM’s vision of building an Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.

Vision

In a recent interview, Multani explored his views on Ayurveda yoga and its benefits. He explained: Ayurveda system is not accepted in most countries of the world and is available supplements there. In almost 25 countries, MoUs are being signed for accepting the ayurvedic medicines to be practised in regular medicine. Countries like India have been aiming to have world-class medical facilities. But the pandemic showed that the ayurvedic system of medicines can replace the other systems as a primary system. Of course, for emergency services and complicated situations, one can explore the allopathic system.”
