SDA Bocconi School of Management – Milan, Italy

Commitment to research and education, while contributing to the industrial development in Italy and abroad

History

SDA Bocconi School of Management was created in 1971 with a commitment to research and education, and contributing significantly to the development of industries in Italy and abroad.  The business school holds a triple-crown in accreditations from the AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

SDA Bocconi School of Management provides students with up-to-date information and an international network to give them the highest quality of education. SDA Bocconi has a mission to contribute to the development of individuals and organisations by creating and disseminating innovative managerial knowledge.

Their business school motto is: “Empowering lives through knowledge and imagination”.  The business school targets those who have work experience and it has an integrated approach to research, teaching, and training. The business school focuses on internalisation and providing assistance to students, companies, institutions and economic systems that are developing economically or globally.

The main goal of the educational experience at SDA Bocconi is to enhance and build upon the traditional managerial skills that were originally developed by the Universita Bocconi.

One unique aspect of the SDA Bocconi is the “Learning Lab”, a high-tech and high-touch experiential facility that explores new approaches to education and collaborates with faculty to develop management simulations, role-playing games, web-based solutions and interactive personal assessments. The lab is designed to engage participants in real-world situations and encourage them to apply their newly learned skills.
