Ized Uanikhehi is co-founder, MD/CMO of Loose Media, an experiential and digital marketing and tech solutions company. With 15 years post-college experience in Technology, Marketing and Digital media, Ized has spent the last 7 years changing the digital marketing landscape of Africa.
Ized Uanikhehi is a graduate of Biochemistry, with 15 years post-college experience in Technology, Marketing and Digital media who has spent the last 7 years changing the digital marketing landscape of Africa through her works and adopting digital technology for advocacy and helping startups promote their businesses.
Before Loose Media, she co-founded TORA Africa, an impact driven human resources technology startup that focused on the informal sector.
She is also convener of the largest community of digital marketing professionals in Africa – DigiClan and she is driven by her life’s goal to bridge the digital (gender) divide in Africa with this community and collaboration.
“My rollercoaster work life since I graduated college over 14 years ago has seen me lead the digital media unit and business development teams of organizations, serving small, medium and large organizations that needed to utilize digital media for business growth and to expand it’s frontiers, best the competition, improve its brand and increase profits,” Ized noted recently.
She has worked for and with multi-billion naira international and local brands, successfully developing and working on a number of creative digital contents and offline marketing strategies to propel these brands forward.
She was director of marketing, partnerships and growth at MAX Okada, a 2 wheel ride hailing mobility company. Prior to joining MAX she was the social producer at CNN Africa.
Ized explains her vision as it follows: “I don’t believe in coincidences, you are right here at this moment reading my profile because it’s fate that we should connect. I believe in the power of UBUNTU- that I am who I am because of who you are and that community is critical for business (and Individual) growth.
