The HEC MBA has a mission to acquire cutting-edge knowledge for decision-making, build personal engagement and leadership skills and connect students with the corporate world to create long-lasting ties and relationships.  The programme is offered in a full-time and part-time format. The full-time programme is 16 months and has as fundamental and customised phase.  During the fundamental phase, students learn the essential business skills and competencies necessary to function in a firm or organisation.  During the customised phase, students tailor their MBA to be aligned with their career objects through selecting from a variety of specialisation courses, international exchange programmes, field work projects or elective courses.  A range of certifications are also offered in association with the MBA programme. The part-time programme is two years long and classes occur one week of the month.  The programme offers students the same knowledge as the full-time programme and is divided into the two phases of fundamental and customised courses as well.  During the fundamental phase, students take core courses in 11 different subjects and participate in a mandatory exchange to the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.  During the customised phase, students select from a range of electives and may participate in the exchange programme with UCLA.  A company consulting project designed to put technical training at work is also integrated into this phase.
