‘All The Things You Can Do In The Metaverse’ is a tale for kids where siblings Jaden and Selena cure their boredom when they find a box with two VR headsets that suddenly appear in their living room. After the brother and sister put on the headsets a floating robot takes them into the Metaverse for adventures through a reality bending door.

‘Get Serious About Social Media’ is an ebook with tips and strategies for businesses to create brand awareness and marketing on social media.

As a public speaker and showman, Eugene hosted the flagship show, The Comic Shop, raising online presence from 0 to 70,000 monthly active viewers to the channel. He also wrote a 6-episode informational series around Skype IP involving large social media personalities.

He was also the creator of GLITCHED, the first in VR talk show to be ordered as if it were a TV show. The show revolved around interviewing large name tech and social media influencers like Barnacules Nerdgasm, iJustine, Jake Roper of Vsauce3 and Gearlive. The show ran for a total of 3 seasons.

Eugene has featured in more than 15 podcasts, including WSU Insider, WTIA, Twitch, Emerald City Comicon, GoMedia, Ready Hacker One, and The Bacon Bits 'n' Bytes Podcast.

He is also the Global XR Education Advisor at XR Safety Initiative and a Co Facilitator at After Effects Seattle, where he co-leads education sessions to help industry professionals improve their skills in the motion design field.

Business Career

Eugene Capon "Capon Design" (born: August 20, 1985 [age 37]), is a dual citizen YouTuber (United States and Canada) known for his online presence as a forward-thinking Social Media Futurist, public speaker and 360 animation director under his production company "Studio Capon".

A social media futurist, Eugene's forward-thinking attitude towards how we connect using technology has been at the forefront of his mission to connect the world and pave the way to the metaverse. In 2014 he graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on "YouTube Studies" from Evergreen State. Upon graduation, he went to work at the YouTube Consulting Agency, Press Play where he was focused on next-level visual content in the motion graphics and animation genre.
In 2016 he quit his job as an art director to pursue XR and social media. Eugene's first project was producing the film "Journey VR". This film became an official selection at SIFF, a staff pick by Adobe and VEER then would become the number one 360 video download on Steam for 30 days at the time of its release.
A year later he would produce and host GLITCHED, the first VR talk show to be ordered as if it were a TV show. The show revolved around interviewing large-name tech and social media influencers like Barnacules Nerdgasm, iJustine, Jake Roper of Vsauce3, and Gearlive. The show ran for a total of 3 seasons.
Since then he has been an avid XR creator making VR and 360 experiences with millions of views and one of the world's most profound evangelists of the Metaverse.
Studio Capon was created when he sold the second season of the in VR talk show GLITCHED which his YouTube channel was renamed CapondesignTV. The channel is co-ran with former radio personality Topher Welsh who co-hosted GLITCHED.

Eugene Capon has been in the social media realm for more than a decade, having received his specialisation in “YouTube Studies”. He has published many videos where he takes complex topics and breaks them down into easy-to-understand videos.

He is passionate about social media innovation and desires to create next generation virtual and immersive experiences to inspire everyone in the world. 

In a recent interview with Dinis Guarda, he spoke about how emergent technologies like AI can be utilised to tackle the global problems:

“If we break down some of the biggest issues in the world, odds are if we ask an AI with enough data, it'll give us solutions. It's just, are we as humans really willing to listen to the suggestions and those plans provided”, he said.
