Jean Lehmann

Jean Lehmann is the current CEO & Founder of Cyber Capital HQ, and Cyber chain analytics. Jean is an author and thought leader that has been working at a strategic consulting and advisory firm in cybersecurity solutions and data intelligence services. He has accumulated over 20 years of experience as a financial advisor and management consultant, specialising in blockchain, AI, Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity.

Jean holds a INSEAD/Wharton MBA, a DEA from HEC School of Management, an MSc from Eurecom/EPFL, and an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School. Since he graduated, 
Jean Lehmann started his career as a Investment Consultant at Benetti Finance and, throughout the years, he has taken different roles as an advisor and consultant in leading companies in the sector such as ABS Quantitative Analyst at Cambridge Place Investment Management, Senior ABS Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Norddeutsche Landesbank or Senior Management Consultant at global technology and management consultancy CAPCO.

Jean has also served in the public sector between 2008 and 2010, serving as Municipal Government Investment and Financial Advisor in the Buzios Municipality, where he worked for the municipal Government of Buzios as an investment and financial advisor to the “Secretario do Governo”, the president of the commercial and entrepreneurial association.

His latest endeavour is as founder and CEO of Cyber Capital HQ a strategic consulting and advisory firm in cybersecurity and data intelligence solutions with clients in the UK, EMEA, Africa, and LatAm. CCHQ has particular expertise in the financial services and oil and gas sectors and advises organisations in the cost-effective re-engineering of their processes to achieve maximum business performance and productivity.

As a thought leader, he is a regular contributor, panellist, and moderator at renowned international Cyber Security conferences, an advisory board member in the Blockchain and Venture Capital sector, a guest lecturer at INSEEC Business School and a trusted advisor to Arie Capital Banking Group, the first specialised online digital corporate banking group, among others.

Jean Lehmann's career began in the financial industry, where he gained valuable experience in banking, capital markets, and quantitative analysis. He worked as a Senior Management Consultant at CAPCO from February 2012 to August 2014. During this time, he provided management consulting services to major financial institutions, assisting them in developing innovative business solutions, optimizing processes, reducing costs, and managing risks.

In April 2010, Jean Lehmann embarked on an independent consulting career focused on investment and market entry strategies. He played a crucial role in opening the Brazilian market for European private banks and independent asset management companies. During his tenure as an Independent Consultant on the Brazilian Market, he developed a client base from scratch, managed the full engagement life cycle, and structured investment funds.

In September 2008, Jean Lehmann served as a Municipal Government Investment and Financial Advisor for the Buzios Municipality in Brazil. He provided valuable expertise in restructuring the municipality's approach to project finance initiatives across the Peninsula of Buzios.

From July 2006 to August 2007, Jean Lehmann worked as a Senior ABS Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Norddeutsche Landesbank. He managed a substantial portfolio of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), conducting portfolio management, credit analysis, and quantitative analysis. He also played a crucial role in defining the bank's CLO investment strategy and improving return on equity.

Jean Lehmann's career also includes entrepreneurial ventures and advisory roles in the cybersecurity and data intelligence sectors. He founded Cyber Capital HQ, a strategic consulting and advisory firm specializing in cybersecurity and data intelligence solutions. As the Chief Executive Officer, he leads the firm's activities in the UK, EMEA, Africa, and LatAm. Cyber Capital HQ advises organizations on cost-effective process re-engineering, mitigating risks, and achieving maximum business performance through proprietary tools and cutting-edge technologies.

Additionally, Jean Lehmann has been actively involved in the education sector. He serves as a Guest Lecturer at INSEEC Business School in London, leading workshops and lectures on topics such as the hedge fund industry, banking management, fintech, and blockchain technology.

Jean Lehmann is a Council Member of the Gerson Lehman Group, advising on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, and disruptive technologies for consultancies, hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity companies.

Furthermore, he has provided advisory services to companies such as Clear Factor, where he contributed to creating a global decentralized ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access working capital through invoice finance. Additionally, Jean Lehmann worked as an independent consultant on security, technology, and compliance strategy, as well as cross-border asset recovery for UHNW Russian families.
